Laura is a transformational global life sciences leader, with a focus on strategy development and implementation, culture change and compliance developed during 20 years at Bayer as a general counsel and member of the executive leadership teams at 2 global healthcare divisions, and as an M&A executive. She has extensive experience in value creation through global expansion, acquisitions, divestitures or re-direction or restructure of the business, a passion for mentoring and a deep knowledge of compliance and risk management in highly regulated industries in the US and internationally.

In her most recent role, Laura was an M&A executive who led a team that planned for and executed integration of acquisitions or separation of divestitures at Bayer. Prior to that she served as the General Counsel and member of the Global Management Team for Bayer HealthCare’s Medical Division, setting and implementing strategy for a $3 billion diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceutical and software products business, and driving compliance and risk management in the US and internationally. She has broad deal experience, including forming and governing joint ventures, acquiring adjacent technology start-ups, negotiating alliances and divesting non-core businesses.

Laura received her BSFS in International Politics from Georgetown University and her JD from NYU.

Laura and her husband live in Stamford, CT, and have 3 children.
