Al is an accomplished sales and commercial operations leader with 37 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including several years of service at the executive team level. His most recent corporate positions were SVP Market Access and Operations and VP Sales and Operations for Meda Pharmaceuticals. Al is recognized for building and leading highly productive teams in sales, training/organizational development, market access and analytics.

He is a strong communicator, decision maker and trusted colleague who has successfully taken on special assignments during difficult and unstable circumstances. In helping clients address the challenge of delivering results, Al draws upon his experience and focus on sales force effectiveness, building competency and hiring models, establishing performance management systems, and developing talent through coaching, mentoring.

Al also serves on the Board of Directors for the Mowat-Wilson Syndrome Foundation, where he is chairperson of the research committee. Mowat-Wilson Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder which his grandson was diagnosed with in 2010. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a B.A. in biology.
